How this list is made

Order: English Wikipedia article views by readers (user traffic only, automated traffic excluded) over the twelve months September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026, most read first.

What is measured. The Wikimedia Foundation publishes how many times each Wikipedia article is viewed; we read the monthly totals of human (user) traffic for each person's English article for the twelve months to August 31, 2026, through the Wikimedia REST API. Readership of an article is a measure of attention, not of agreement, audience size or influence, and articles are read for many reasons.

Who is on the list. Commentators, hosts, columnists and authors whose perspective sits on the right of American politics, by one of three documented bases, printed under each name: the person or their employer says so (quoted, with the page it was read from); the opening sentences of the person's Wikipedia article describe them with a right-of-center label (the article is linked, and the label is quoted as written); or the person hosts a show on the Ledger's podcast list or works for a site on its news-sites list. People currently holding a government office or appointment, and current candidates, are left out — they are covered elsewhere on the Ledger.

What is not claimed. The order says who was looked up most and nothing about merit, accuracy or reach. The Ledger has no relationship, commercial or editorial, with anyone listed; inclusion is not endorsement in either direction, and a listed person has not endorsed the Ledger.
